The three-way PMC10 is a large-scale monitoring system in a compact form factor, designed for small to medium music tracking and mix rooms, as well as film and TV post-production, mastering, and streaming service facilities. Ideal for both stereo and immersive monitoring, the system is scalable to a twin-cabinet XBD configuration for increased system scale and low-frequency headroom.
Housed in the latest iteration of our ATL™ cabinet design with LaminairX™ vents, the PMC10 features a hand-built 34mm soft-dome tweeter, our new PMC75v3 midrange driver incorporating exclusive a-void™ damping, and an innovative, in-house, custom-designed 10-inch bass driver. This combination delivers the extended low-frequency performance and control typically associated with significantly larger enclosures and 12-inch systems.
Power is provided by PMC’s master36 rack-mountable DSP/Amplifier unit, employing ultra-transparent Class-D amplification to deliver 800W to both the tweeter and midrange drivers, and 1000W to the bass driver. The integrated DSP offers precision digital crossovers optimised for the PMC10’s bespoke drivers, along with transparent excursion limiting for system protection and comprehensive room-optimisation EQ. The system accepts both analogue and digital inputs and can be controlled over a standard LAN via the SoundAlign2 browser-based interface.
